Going Mad for March [INFOGRAPHIC]
March 14, 2014
March is such a great month. The weather is just starting to warm up, the flowers are starting to bloom, and Daylight Saving Time brings more daylight in the evening to take advantage of. But, the best thing about the month of March (at least in my opinion) is unquestionably the NCAA college basketball tournament—otherwise known as March Madness. 68 college basketball teams are invited to play in a single elimination tournament to decide the national champion. It happens over the course of three weeks—but the first weekend, spanning from Thursday to Sunday—is jam packed with games.
This will be the first year that I won’t have to go to a sports bar to get the ultimate watching experience that I crave, which consists of all live games playing simultaneously during that first weekend. The Control4 HDMI Matrix Switch I installed in my home several months ago will allow me to take all satellite sources and put them on my video wall so that I can enjoy that unique sports bar experience in the comfort of my home. No need to change out of my sweatpants to watch the games.
We’ve simulated a video wall of our own in this infographic that provides some historical March Madness statistics to help whet your appetite before the action starts up next week.
